Last week we made a little hellomeridian field trip to boiseartglass for a glass blowing class. It was a ridiculously good time. All those 2000 degree furnaces filled with molted glass. Having a glass expert walk us through each step...and then getting this piece of art to show off to all our friends! (There are lots of different glass pieces you can choose to make, but we recommend the wavy bowl (as shown) and the paperweight.) The whole process is fascinating. In fact, one of our contributors was so inspired, she’s planning on taking a full glass course!
