On Sunday Long Branch Ocean Rescue and the City of Long Branch hosted our annual “Surfing for Vision” event. This event gives those who are visually impaired a chance to safely experience the thrill of surfing, kayaking, and jet-ski rides as they are paired up with experienced lifeguards and event volunteers. There were some big smiles on the beach this weekend! From the Visions Foundations site: “The blind that participate in our event are the courageous. They are the healed ones.
