Police, Emergency Service and Health Care teams gathered today in Albert Park for the annual Angela Taylor Memorial Run/Walk.⁣ ⁣ This community event started in 1989 in honour of Constable Angela Rose Taylor, who on Thursday the 27 March 1986, took the full force of a car bomb explosion just outside the police complex in Russell Street Melbourne. As a result, young Constable Angela Rose Taylor died in hospital, on 20 April 1986. ⁣ ⁣ Angela was committed to helping others in the community, and our police and emergency services continue to demonstrate those values today.
