How do you settle the nerves before an important event🤯? Maybe it’s preseason testing🏋🏾♀️ or attending a huge tournament and all the scouts will be watching 👀

At times I’d get so into my head with negative thoughts and emotions. It became extremely detrimental to my game. I’d hold my stick too tight or make a forced play that I knew was wrong, overthink overthink overthink 🤦🏾♀️

Now, with the right self talk and positive motivation, I prepare waaaay before I lace up the skates, and in all walks of life.
