“You have grown in powerful and exciting ways through the work you have done,” Topher Gee affirmed to the Charlotte Latin Service Society, Class of 2024. Attended by parents, faculty, and staff, the breakfast ceremony featured speeches by the inductees, as well as remarks from Dr. David-Aaron Roth, Director of Student Leadership Development, and Mr. Gee, Upper School science teacher and Community-Engaged Learning Coordinator. Students volunteered their time to a variety of activities and institutions, including the Special Olympics, Camp Kudos, an Atrium Health hospital, and Blessings in a Backpack. “Service has been a transformative journey,” said Pari Hathiram. “Showing up and holding yourself accountable really does make a difference,” declared Katie Clark.
