I am just so happy and proud. I was chosen to be the keynote speaker for the Florida Association of Broadcast Journalists awards reception. It was a packed house, with nearly 300 in attendance. I got honest and vulnerable and was so inspired to see how many people seemed to resonate with the message. We must use our job as the ultimate act of service. Add value, be of service. Put the people in our stories first. Our greatness will be measured by how much it takes to discourage us and how many people we help along the way. I’m so grateful to have this life of mine.
