Working as a physical therapist during this pandemic has brought many new challenges and stresses, but it has also brought so much joy during a difficult season. Going to work each day and seeing all the kids I work with has been the biggest blessing. I could tell you so many stories of where I’ve seen God work on a daily basis, but a special experience I had with one of my patients still sticks out in my mind as a true moment of joy and celebration. One morning in the parking lot at work, we had an amazing reunion after many months of having to isolate from physical therapy. That day I saw her use a head switch to drive her power wheelchair across the parking lot. There was such joy in her eyes! She had a big smile from the excitement of being able to move by herself, and I was truly amazed at all God had done.
