When we joined Hope and I discovered all the classes available, the nerd in me got super excited. I wanted a closer relationship with God, but I didn’t know how to begin. The structure of classes and some teaching guidance to build my faith upon appealed to me.⁣ ⁣ I started with Alpha and Core which provided safe places to ask my questions and to ponder the ways God has shown his love for me. Then, I enrolled in the Apprentice Series which explained God’s true character, helped me take a hard look at my own character, and explored what living as an apprentice of Jesus every day can look like. Lastly, I took Let Prayer Change Your Life and Listening Prayer which examined how to communicate with and hear from God. Through all of these classes, I continued to grow in my understanding of God, faith, and the gifts he gave me.
