Help us welcome Sylv Litz, who just began as Administrative Assistant at Western Avenue! Sylv will be collaborating with the artists on-site and assisting with day to day operations of the Studios and Lofts properties and the artist community. An artist and member of the WASL community, Sylv Litz was raised in Monterrey, NL, México. Some of the most prominent themes in Sylv’s work are related to experiences prior to coming to the U.S., as well as adjusting to life after relocating. At 11 years old, Sylv made the decision to move to Houston, Texas as a parachute child (moved countries while bio parent remained in country of origin). After receiving a scholarship to the Glassell School of Art at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Sylv began their pursuit in the arts.
