Hope is one of those places I can feel the Holy Spirit the second I walk into any of the buildings. I remember when the current West Des Moines worship center was basically cement and steel beams. The windows weren’t in, and if there was any wind outside, it would come roaring through the worship center making a loud and intense ringing sound. I could feel something more was going on in this new space, but there was no way to look inside because it was locked up for safety.⁣ ⁣ One Wednesday evening, I was at Hope with our kids later than usual cleaning up. The ringing was particularly loud this night, and it kept getting louder! We finished around 10:00 pm, and the kids and I hopped in the car to go home.
