The week that encompasses the Portland Track Festival and the Stumptown Twilight is called #trackweek in Portland. Arguably no one had a better Track Week than Sadi Henderson. Coming into PTF, runlittlewing’s 800m extraordinaire carried a 2:04.52 season best to the line. In a hotly contested heat 2 of the oiselle 800m, she flew to the tape finishing second in 2:01.23- a new PR and Olympic Trials qualifier. In heat 2 of the oiselle 1500m at the Stumptown Twilight, she exploded into the final lap and drove home in 4:10.26, taking the win with a decisive 63.9 final lap and lowering her PR from 4:23. Entering the week, her team had confidence in her ability to do something great. With an incredible support system, she delivered performances above and beyond expectations.
