Hard to believe so much loss and devastation could come to such a beautiful place and community that welcomed the professional track world just months ago. Photos from Sarah Hunter, a school teacher in the area show theMcKenzie River Community Track being used as an evacuation point for people escaping the Holiday Farm Fire last week. Her photos juxtaposed with Howard Lao’s from The Bigger Friendly show the damage to the area with the fire still only 8% contained. Our hearts are full knowing that all who took refuge there left safely and we know that they and so many other communities around the region will need our help rebuilding their home. #Together #TheMeaningofFriendly
