Providing legal services to low income clients is a personal passion for Carmel Joseph, JD ’20. Through a grant she received from Equal Justice Works, Carmel spent two months this summer at Legal Services of the Hudson Valley in New York as a rural legal corps student fellow — providing free legal assistance to individuals and families at a homeless shelter and a drug rehabilitation center. ⠀ ⠀ She has dedicated her free time to providing civil legal services, including working for Connecticut Legal Services after her first year of law school and working for #QuinnipiacLaw’s Civil Justice Clinic.
