#TeacherAppreciationDay, we salute our nearly 2,000 School of Education graduates who have devoted their lives to shaping our future. Alumni, like Emily Keene '12, work diligently each day to ensure that the next generation of leaders have the skills and critical-thinking abilities needed to make a positive impact on the world. They toil away in the classroom throughout the day and then work diligently at home each night, grading papers and preparing innovative and engaging lesson plans to ensure the foundations on which the future is built are strong. Many of these graduates make up more than 20,000 Quinnipiac alumni who have made a permanent home in Connecticut, making a difference in their respective careers and in our community -- and one of the many reasons we are proud to say
