As Mackenzie Campbell, far right, emerged from from her residence hall this afternoon and trudged through the freshly fallen snow with her friends toward our Mount Carmel Dining Hall, a snow-made Bobcat began to form in her mind. Immediately she, Makayla Calisi, Annie Gouthro, Rachael Durand and Allissa Verrill sprung to action to bring Boomer to life with some snow, acrylic paint and the jersey Mackenzie has worn to all but one of our No. 1 ranked men's ice hockey home games this season. Be sure to compliment Mackenzie and Rachael tonight at the TD Bank Sports Center. They'll likely be in their usual front-row seats of the student section as our men's ice hockey team takes on Cornell. "It's a great way to spend a night," Mackenzie said. "There's so much energy and it's so much fun cheering on such a great team!" Mackenzie and Rachael said they are confident of a Bobcats victory.
