C-USA PITCHER OF THE WEEK Shannon Saile | FIU | Fr. | Land O'Lakes, Florida shannonsaile picked up victories in each of her four appearances last week. The freshman made three starts, including a one-hit shutout of Fairfield on Saturday. She is now one out away from tossing nine straight shutout innings, allowing just one hit over that span. Her 105 strikeouts in 2017 are already the most by a Panther pitcher in the last three seasons and are third-most among C-USA leaders (best among C-USA freshmen). Her opponent batting average of .169 is the second-best mark in the league. This is the first weekly award in the young freshman's career.
