Living with OI can be a crazy and sometimes challenging ride and even in the hardest moments, I wouldn’t change a thing. I’m proud of who I am and I’m proud of the strength that I have because of my disability. I will also be forever grateful that I found the water as it has given me so much more than just my sport. The water was the first place that gave me freedom, it has always been and will always be my safe place, it is the reason why my bones are so healthy, it has been there in the hardest moments to pick me up and dust me off, but most of all - it instilled confidence and courage in me that I could pursue any dream. The water has truly taught me to focus on my abilities and what is possible and I believe that is what this day is all about - what YOU CAN do and what YOU CAN achieve. Always own who you are a...
