Announcing the first speaker of the 2019 LEAD Sports Summit: McKenzie Coan (mckenzie_coan)! McKenzie is a 2-time Olympic athlete, competing at the 2012 and 2016 Paralympic Games and winning three gold medals. She is the world record holder in the S7 800-meter free. Diagnosed with osteogenesis imperfecta (brittle bone disease) as a child, McKenzie found herself at home in the pool and is now training toward Tokyo 2020. McKenzie's nickname is Big Mac, and she always has her toes painted pink (her power color!) at big meets - she says it is because her toes are the last thing she sees before diving in and it makes her feel strong.
