Our next stop for #CampusTourTuesday is Nippert Stadium! Located in the heart of campus, Nippert hosts the #Bearcats Football Team, FC Cincinnati, and even functions as an outdoor music venue. It was first established in 1914 and has provided an electric sporting atmosphere for decades; ESPN's Scott Van Pelt has even called Nippert "one of the gems of college football." Through numerous renovations, the stadium has retained its classic brickwork, iron gates, and trim, providing a comfortable charm and appeal, while remaining a classic showplace for college football. When it's not hosting sports teams or concerts, Nippert can be a great spot to get an outdoor workout in! Whether it's running the stairs or doing an ab circuit on the field itself, Nippert Stadium provides plenty for the Bearcats that call UC home.
