October is about balance. We are reintroducing the body to workouts and planting the seeds of a good routine. But perspective is necessary with our sights set on a late June peak at the Olympic Trials. That means the early parts of fall training are often filled with efforts that feel as if we’re just, ‘going through the motions.’ And there won’t be a single day in which the flip is suddenly switched. Instead, we’ll slowly dial up the intensity in a natural progression that won’t force the fitness, but allow it to come to us in a lasting way. #Photo: @kuperhale
