HUNDREDS of people turned out for the annual Juneteenth Festival in Rock Hill over the weekend. The two day event was held at Fountain Park (Day 1) and Mt Prospect Baptist Church (Day 2). Juneteenth is a celebration of freedom and combines the month of June and the 19th day. It's the day slavery ended in Galveston, TX in 1865. Juneteenth is celebrated around the US every year.
