From Monday, gettyarchive welcomes Saul Bromberger & Sandra Hoover Photography, saul_sandraphoto, for a week’s takeover. The photojournalists have worked together for over 35 years, and in that time have focused on empathetic and in depth storytelling, producing images with authenticity, respect and hope. The takeover focuses on their seven year project covering the International Lesbian & Gay Freedom Day Parade in San Francisco. Shot between 1984 and 1990, the images document the area’s gay community uniting during its continuing fight for civil rights and marching for equality. To explore the Bromberger Hoover Photography collection, follow our bio link. 📷: Their faces reflected in the motorcycle mirror under a Pride flag, a pair of women in the 'Dykes on Bikes' group wait, in the Castro District, for the start of the International Lesbian & Gay Freedom Day Parade, San Francisco, California, June 26, 1988 I Saul Bromberger I Bromberger Hoover Photography/Getty Images I #MovingT...
