People walk through Bryant Park as snow falls during a winter storm in New York City. Winter Storm Gail dropped between 3-10 inches of snow in parts of New York City overnight, bringing more snow in one day than the city recorded all of last winter. Meanwhile, over 40 inches of snow have blanketed parts of Pennsylvania and upstate New York as the powerful nor’easter delivered snow, rain, sleet and high winds up and down the East Coast.
