In this action-packed race, Jacob Kiplimo 🇺🇬 beat Jakob Ingebrigtsen 🇳🇴 in a nail bitter with a speedy time of 7:26.64, which is a World Lead and a Diamond League Record. Finishing in third, not far behind the pair of Jacobs’ was Stewart McSweyn 🇦🇺with an Australian Record and a PB of 7:28.02.
Men’s 400mH:
Karsten Warholm 🇳🇴 put on a great spectacle with a solid time of 47.07. Superb performance which capped a great season for the Viking.
Women’s 100m:
Elaine Thompson-Herah🇯🇲
ran a blistering WL of 10.85 which edged off Aleia Hobbs 🇺🇸 and Marie-Josee Talou 🇨🇮.
Women’s 800m:
It was a great day for Jemma Reekie 🇬🇧 as she ran a solid time of 1:59.76 which gave her the lead ahead of Laura Muir 🇬🇧 and Hedda Hynne 🇳🇴.
Men’s 100m:
Akani Simbine 🇿🇦 went sub-10 with a great time of 9.96 finishing ahead of Arthur Cisse 🇨🇮 and Filippo Tortu 🇮🇹
