“This image was shot backstage at the David Ferreira AW17 show at Fashion Scout during London Fashion Week back in February this year. I was immediately stopped in my tracks by this amazing model looking like an exotic otherworldly creature in this bold oversized bright green fluffy coat. It completely enveloped her and made such a statement that I knew I had to photograph her. I made a couple of full length frames but didn't feel like I was really capturing the scale and impact. My eye was drawn to her bright red lipstick and unusual makeup, which really popped surrounded by this sea of green.
