“I captured this image of the New Zealand All Black Sevens team after they won the final at the Hong Kong Rugby 7’s in 2014. A typhoon hit Hong Kong and the rain was torrential. After they received the trophy the team took their jerseys off and performed a Haka in the downpour. I was down to one camera, the other was already water-damaged. The remember the moment as being spine-tingling. The other photographers had run for cover. I went out on the field and got down low in the wet grass that was starting to flood. The energy and raw emotion was a special moment to photograph and witness.
