“This image was taken outside claridgeshotel in London in 2004 when I used to shoot pap photos. I drove along a route each morning which took me past the main celebrity hotels. I had heard Jack Nicholson was staying there. I drove round a few times and suddenly his car pulled up but I was stuck at a set of traffic lights so I jumped out, leaving it running with all my kit on the back seat! He came out a few minutes later flashing his wide grin while smoking a cigarette and this was the best frame of the set!
