“This image was something really special for me as it crossed something off my photographic dream list. I shot Jake Gyllenhaal during the 2015 Dubai Film Festival and during these type of portrait sessions you get very little time. In fact, we spent more time talking than we did shooting. He was one of the nicest guys I have photographed in my career. You get told you have five minutes which in reality is more like one minute but then that ends up been 30 seconds which actually goes in a flash. You have to decide exactly how and where you are going to shoot the portrait in the minutes you are in the room before the talent show up.
