“For me, volcanoes have always had a special attraction. When I saw a puff of smoke from the peak of Sinabung, I assumed that the mountain would erupt soon. I asked the locals but they said this wasn't a definite sign. So I decided to approach the mountain in the hope I would get a more interesting view and in the middle of my journey, Sinabung suddenly erupted. I tried to find a safe location at a radius of about 4 km from the top of mount Sinabung to get a picture.
