#YearInFocus | This picture was taken during the opening day of the 2015 #SanFermin Festival. My position was on a second floor balcony, just in front of the city hall over a packed square. I was covering the #Chupinazo ⎯ the loud bang which marks the start of the festival. About two minutes before the fireworks were set to go off, I noticed that the crowd beneath my position was swaying and some of the people were struggling to stand up. It was at that moment when I saw a girl look like she was trying to breathe, staring straight up to the sky. Two weeks after the #festival, she contacted me at which point I learned that her name was Nazarena Arguello and she from the United States. She told me that 15 minutes after this picture was taken, she had fainted and was carried out of the square, where she recovered until she was ready to keep enjoying the festivities.
