For anyone who thought this shot was faked! 🎥 insta360 ONE X2 🎣 BTW when I was planning this shot here... everyone told me this was a terrible idea. I started thinking maybe it was a bad idea too... but my backup shoot location ended up not working out so I decided to go for it here. We were SO nervous. Can't believe it actually worked! If you try anything like this, safety first! We made sure the area was fully clear, that there were no boats passing beneath, and that the line was extra secure (it's fishing wire designed to hold up to much heavier weights) I first had the idea to use a fishing rod last year when I was trying to get a shot in a stairwell, I've since tried it at a bunch of locations. Heads up it's easy to accidentally scratch the 360 lens when attempting this shot, so make sure the camera lens doesn't bump the ground or anything around it.
