Behind the scenes on our lego shoot! When I first pitched this concept to eriqwities, I completely underestimated how challenging it would be.  I thought - this’ll be great. I’ll just sit there and pose while Eriq does all the hard work, animating around me! Easy for me!  It turns out, being frozen for 5 hours straight for one continuous take is not easy. The hardest part for me was the facial expressions. You know how when you’re asked to smile for a photo, it gets kind of tiring if you have to hold the smile for too long? Try that for 5 hours 😁😁😬😬🥶  Thankfully, we did two tests before we did the final take (you can see them in my stories).  The first was an animation test - where we tested all the different LEGO builds, figured out the intermediate transition build states, and also figured out how to “float” the dinosaurs in mid-air by putting white supporting LEGO bricks underneath.
