Props to eriqwities for nailing the physics  So I actually have an obsession with wooden spoons. Yogurt, ice cream, and soup taste SO much better coming out a wooden spoon, I’m tellin' you. As long as I can remember, I never liked the clingy-clangy cold feel of metal silverware on my teeth. So when I was a kid, I’d just use the same plastic spoons over and over again (even throwing them in the dishwasher, until they eventually cracked).
