#ThisIsGrassroots: "My mom and dad both graduated college and earned a degree. But thanks to the game of basketball, I will be the first in my family to receive a full scholarship. I never knew the game would take me this far. If you told a kid from Ireland he will go to Division 1 University one day and have an opportunity to change his family’s life, many would laugh in disbelief. The difference between basketball in America and in Ireland is drastic. The speed of the game, the intensity and certainly the mentality. There are no limitations to my game now that I'm in America.
