50 years ago today, a movement of young freedom fighters made what everybody said was impossible happen. They secured and protected the right to an abortion and bodily autonomy at the Supreme Court. That victory paved the way for many amazing changes we have seen over the last 50 years. The freedom to marry, the right to birth control, and more. This is the first anniversary since the court overruled its own decision in June 2022, stripping millions from lifesaving care. If you’re scared about what the future holds, you’re not alone. We’re frustrated, worried, fed up, too. But we have our path forward. We will challenge the power-hungry politicians and judges who have put their extremist ideology ahead of the right to comprehensive health care.
