On Election Night, a polling location at Texas State University experienced a malfunction of five voting machines out of eight. This has caused wait times of four hours or more and more concerningly we have received reports of poll volunteers turning students away.
In response, MOVE Texas is coordinating last minute transportation for voters at this location to be shuttled from campus to another voting center. This is the same polling location where, in 2019, the county tried to remove the voting center altogether. After MOVE Texas and other advocates threatened litigation, the polling location remained on the campus.
