Today we spotlight Howard University School of Law. ⚖️ For over 150 years its graduates have advanced to leadership positions in education, social reform, and government. A few notable alumni include former Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed, legal trailblazer Pauline “Pauli” Murray, former District of Columbia Mayor Sharon Pratt Kelly, former Virginia Governor Douglas Wilder, former National Urban League President Vernon E. Jordan, Jr. and former Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall.    Howard University school of law is one of the oldest law schools in the country and the oldest historically black college or university law school in the United States. In 1872, the law school graduated the first black woman lawyer, Charlotte E. Ray.
