Focus on Faculty: Andrew Izsák, a professor in the College of Education, conducts research on the mathematical reasoning of middle grades teachers and has developed several innovative courses for pre-service teachers, like one that takes them to the UGA physical plant to see Euclidean geometry applied to sheet metal work.
