When we ask our student spotlights if they’ve ever studied abroad, a lot of them will say they’ve been to places like London, Barcelona or Dublin. But Irwin Qi (second from left) gets to say that he’s currently on his study abroad trip while at UNL because he’s from Xi’an China. Back home, Irwin’s major was New Media Studies and our Advertising and Public Relations major is very similar. Irwin also added on a Digital Humanities minor to really set himself apart from others in his major. Irwin previously took an Interactive Design class with professor Adam Wagler and from that, he gets to work with Adam on a UCARE project focusing on UX Design in VR/AR.
