She originally began her journey at the CoJMC as a broadcasting major, but switched to journalism after discovering her love for writing and social media during an internship with KETV Newswatch 7. . She said she wants current students to know it's OK to change your major and take a different path. . "Yes, the major you choose is important, but so are all the experiences you do to find out who and what you really want to be," she said. "And the good thing is, it’s never too late to find that out."
