Our #CoJMCAlumni spotlight this week is Angel Jennings, a Washington, D.C., native. Angel, a 2008 journalism grad, is a staff reporter at the Los Angeles Times. . She said she found professors at the CoJMC who were truly invested in her future. She credits Professor Joe Starita for persuading her to interview for big internships. Under the academic leadership of Professor Charlyne Berens, Angel said she was motivated to study abroad and pursue a minor in business. . “All of those small steps broke down fears and opened doors that lead me to where I am now,” she said.
