Meet this week's #CoJMCAlumni spotlight, Joe Toscano. Joe, a 2014 ADPR major from Omaha, is currently working on writing a book, "Design Intelligence." He is also the founder of the nonprofit Design Good. Joe will be giving a talk this Thursday, Aug. 23, at FUSE Coworking, as part of Intersect, a monthly meet-up for innovators and entrepreneurs. For more information on the event, visit ow.ly/UAG630ls6be. Joe’s book will focus on helping people understand both the practical application of designing artificial intelligence as well as the economic impact their decisions will make. He formerly worked at advertising agency R/GA for clients such as Google, Reply.ai, Lyft and TGIFriday's. During his time at the CoJMC, Joe said that Professor Adam Wagler had one of the most profound impacts on his life. "The freedom he gave me helped me see that the real world isn’t about grades, it’s about getting things done and doing it well," Toscano said.
