Our #CoJMCAlumni spotlight this week is Sophie Tatum! Sophie graduated from the CoJMC in 2015 with a double major in journalism and broadcasting. She also had minors in economics, national security studies, political science and a concentration in Arabic. She currently works as a digital producer at CNN Politics in Washington, D.C., handling political content for digital platforms. Sophie’s advice to current students is to be willing to approach problems in new ways and never give up. "It’s virtually impossible to plan the future, so be open to different opportunities. “ she said. “If things don’t work out exactly the way you thought they would, it doesn’t mean you failed."
