It’s taken me a bit to process and put my emotions into words after the recent events in our country, and I apologize for that. The murder of George Floyd is absolutely horrific, disgusting, and simply wrong on so many levels. This sentiment of racism is inexcusable, especially in the contemporary world. It truly baffles me how it’s 2020, and we still judge and have biases against other humans simply because of the pigment in their skin. How ridiculous is that? The skin color of another human being should not, and will not define a person, much less subject them to prejudice.
