Yesterday marked 5 years without the legendary sports reporter, Stuart Scott. After winning the Jimmy V Award at the ESPY’s, Scott’s story with his battle with cancer became popular. I grew up watching him, as I watched Sportscenter everyday throughout grade school. My favorite segments of his were definitely the Top 10 Plays and whenever he used his signature catch phrase, “As cool as the other side of the pillow”. He will always have an impact on me and the way I portray sports. For me, Stuart Scott is an idol because of his ability to display sportscasting differently and add his own style. Thoughts and prayers continue to go out to his families at home and at ESPN. A real legend was taken from us. #stuartscott #5yearanniversary #ESPN #JimmyV
