Rule of thumb is usually if your product is made of 1s and 0s, you can go remote. If there are physical items involved… it’s definitely harder. But time and again, we’re reminded that there are always exceptions. Take KiwiCampus, they’ve built delivery robots (#kiwibots) for university campuses, but have a fleet of remote-workers monitoring these robots from afar.
