With the world moving so quickly, now is a great time to take a moment, reflect and thank those on the frontlines of COVID-19 sacrificing for the greater good! Within McGill Athletics and Recreation, we have a special connection to frontline workers - Assistant Manager, Andrew Persons, fiancée Marissa Burns is currently working as an orderly at a long-term care centre (CHSLD). Though trained as a speech pathologist, she is currently spending her days caring for residents, and helping them connect with family members in innovative ways. Andrew reports that the residents have been incredibly grateful, and on top of her duties Marissa has been entertaining residents to their delight. Thanks so much Marissa and to all of the incredible frontline workers throughout the country and world - you make us all proud. We will get through this together. #McGillPride
