I saw a debate last week talking about rappers that had never under performed and it had me thinking, who has never spit a bad verse? Immediately I thought of a lot of the new lyricists in the game today and as many are so early in their careers, I decided to make the eligibility for this list available to mcs who have released 2 or more albums. From their, I went through my memory banks recalling some of the genres greatest spitters including names like Jay-Z, Nas, Lupe Fiasco, and Kendrick Lamar and after going through both their solo and feature catalogs, had quickly spotted out a handful of weak verses from acts of this caliber. Going through this process for countless mcs, these are my 9 and only picks for rappers who have never spit a bad or underwhelming verse. As much of an accomplishment as this is, it doesn’t surprise me that these are the names that have never let down. Do you agree with my picks?
