This post really says it all when it comes to retiring in hip hop. It is the anomaly of the genre, artists just leave usually because they are burnt out or facing issues with their label but it seems like in less than a year half the time, these mcs come back and start releasing music again. While this is one of the many reasons hip-hop is a gift as artists can create music till whatever age they would like, it causes confusion seen in the cases of Lil Wayne, Lil Uzi, and many more.
