“We ROOT for NEW YORKERS now” 👀🏀 @nbaeurope sent @sbb_uk on a ROAD TRIP to experience American basketball culture. They landed in Chicago and drove all the way to NEW YORK CITY 🚗🗽 With only 36 hours to explore, I welcomed them to NYC with a surprise 1v1 at West 4th Street with @thereal.georgemessiah… where they earned the nickname “Fish & Chips” 🇬🇧😅 From there, we went to Rucker Park and met some passionate OGs. This first day set the tone right. The next morning, we biked to Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, and @hgnext showed them the famous “Soul in the Hole.” He also hosted us blackstarvinyl and shared how this records store/coffee shop built community around basketball by renovating the Raymond Bush Playground court across the street. They left me to go to watch the @nyknicks at MSG, but we linked up one last time at Brooklyn Bridge Park basketball courts for the best sunset 🌅 Where should NBA Europe & SBB go next??
