“We ROOT for NEW YORKERS now” 👀🏀 nbaeurope sent sbb_uk on a ROAD TRIP to experience American basketball culture. They landed in Chicago and drove all the way to NEW YORK CITY 🚗🗽 With only 36 hours to explore, I welcomed them to NYC with a surprise 1v1 at West 4th Street with thereal.georgemessiah… where they earned the nickname “Fish & Chips” 🇬🇧😅 From there, we went to Rucker Park and met some passionate OGs. This first day set the tone right. The next morning, we biked to Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, and hgnext showed them the famous “Soul in the Hole.” He also hosted us blackstarvinyl and shared how this records store/coffee shop built community around basketball by renovating the Raymond Bush Playground court across the street. They left me to go to watch the nyknicks at MSG, but we linked up one last time at Brooklyn Bridge Park basketball courts for the best sunset 🌅 Where should NBA Europe & SBB go next??
